Well here is Toby and Tilly back, sorry they were away a bit longer than one day though.

It was getting late and time for them to return back to Ponty. Toby decided they would go home over the Horseshoe Pass, or Bwlch yr Nant, as it is called in Welsh.
this is the
pass in 1950So back to the Land Rover they went and it wasn't long till they were climbing up the winding road that was to take them home.Tilly was so pleased that she was on the inside, she couldn't believe how steep and deep it was.
Very slowly was the journey across the pass, but Toby had promised them a cup of tea in the Ponderosa Restaurant if they made it safely to the other side. Gosh there were so many motor bikes, all of them rumbling up the road towards the Ponderosa, here are some wonderful pictures that somebody took and put it on google to let us see.http://diddilydeedotsdreamland.zoomshare.com/

Just a little something I forgot to tell you when I was with Toby and Tilly.
This Horseshoe Pass is not far from the Castle of Seligor's and myself and Diddily's Dreamland. Many times we have done this round trip from Ponty over World's End and then back through the Horseshoe. But never, ever try either of them in winter. Oh my the snow used to be so bad, that the pass both ways were blocked for days at a time. Even weeks. We don't get as much snow now but if ever you are passing past Seli's in winter. Stop and check the weather, or we may never see you again xxx, hugs Dodie. xxx
