SNOWDROP AND THE DWARFS. Hm,m,m such an early Fairy Tale from the brothers Grimm

I am here watching and listening to the fabulous words of Dylan Thomas's Under Milk Wood, with Angharad Rees, Ryan, and Richard Burton, Elizabeth Taylor, Glynis Johns and Peter O'Toole playing the part of the old, blind sea captain. The voice that is, and always will be Richard Burton, speaking Dylan's words, like cream dripping off a cat's tongue, or water trickling sweetly over pebbles in a brook, oh "Hiraeth", My Wales, Cymru am Byth, my love for my country will forever be here in my heart. And after my ramblings I am sure you will enjoy the story of: SNOWDROP AND THE DWARFS One winter day, when the snow lay deep on the ground, a gentle queen sat by her window working. As she worked she pricked her finger, so that two little drops of blood fell from it. The queen sighed and said: "How I wish that I might have a little daughter with cheeks as rosy as those drops of blood, with skin as white as snow and hair as black as this ebony window frame.!" To her great delight the queen's wish was granted, and before long a little daughter came, the Queen named her Snowdrop. Alas soon after this the good Queen died, and Snowdrop's father, the king, married another lady, she was very beautiful but she was also very vain and unkind. She new that she was the most beautiful lady in the land because when she looked into her magic mirror and asked: It is wonderful to read the tales @ before Disney hee he.
