Here is another of the wonderful tales from Stella Mead. It is about a little girl and the stars of gold.

"The Newsreel at Dreamland"
THE STAR GOLD
THE STAR GOLD
THE STAR GOLD

Once
there was a little girl who was so happy and gay that everyone liked to see her and to be with her. But a tragic accident happened and her father and mother died and she was left without a penny in the world.
The little girl set out to find a new home. She had nothing but the clothes she wore, and a slice of bread in her hand.

As she walked along the road she met a poor beggar who asked for a small piece of bread to stop him feeling hungry. The little girl gave him not a little piece but her whole slice of bread. and went on her way.
