Rainbow Time Again. Come with Diddily and the Dee Dot's to Pastimes

Diddilydeedot's Dreamland

ALL THIS DASHING RAIN AND NOT A RAINBOW IN SIGHT.

SO WHAT CAN WE DO TO MAKE THE SUNSHINE  ARRIVE A LITTLE SOONER?

I KNOW, HOW ABOUT MAKING SOME RAINBOW WORDS.

AND THE THINGS IS, YOU HAVE TO MAKE THE WORDS APPEAR.

HERE IS THE WORD

R A I N B O W

THIS IS FOR THE UNDER 5'S WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM A FAMILY MEMBER

JUST TELL ME HOW MANY 3 (THREE) LETTER WORDS YOU CAN MAKE OUT OF THE WORD

R A I N B O W

10 WORDS = GOOD

14 WORDS = VERY GOOD

15 OR MORE + FANTASTIC, YOU ARE A GENIUS

NOW THIS IS FOR THE UNDER 8'S ON THEIR OWN.

Diddily Dee Dot managed to find 25 but I am a lot older than five

The Rainbow Colours

JUST TELL ME HOW MANY 4 OR MORE LETTER WORDS YOU CAN MAKE OUT OF THE WORD

R A I N B O W

10 WORDS = GOOD

 14 WORDS = VERY GOOD

15+  FANTASTIC, YOU ARE A GENIUS

Diddily Dee Dot managed to find 19 but I am a lot older than you

Rainbows form when sunlight is refracted into separate colours by water droplets. We usually see rainbows as arcs due to each individual colour refracting at different angles.
Though a rainbow spans a continuous spectrum of colours, the human eye usually perceives bands of seven distinct colours, they are : red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet.

In the Bible, the rainbow represents the promises of God and was a sign of the covenant that God would never again flood the earth with water: "I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth... .. the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh." Gen 9:13,15
